Bridgette Richardson, LEED AP
- Master of Bruschetta, World Class
- Bachelor of Dessert, Wine, and Coffee
Outside the office, Bridgette spends her time trying to keep active to offset the laborious hours of sitting at work all day. She has been in rock climbing for over three years and is working toward being a proficient lead climber. She is in the midst of studying for her AREs and is a sucker for seeking out new hole-in-the-wall cafes.
She has been into piano for almost twenty years, and when that inspiration hits and she stops making excuses, she might just one day finally write that first song she has always dreamed of.

The firm recognizes Adam as a leader in implementing the latest technologies in the process of building design. He regularly applies an expertise in finite element analysis, lateral design, BIM integrated project delivery, and custom software. He is also responsible for developing software to accelerate in-house design workflows, so that every project stage from concept design to construction administration runs efficiently.

- Master of Divinity, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (nearly completed)
- Attended the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Versailles

Matthew is currently acting as a Professor of Architectural Design at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Graduated as the Plym Fellow with a Masters of Architecture from the University of Illinois, Matthew's career in teaching has led him to several continents and back. Over the past seven years, he has taught courses, administered classes, and written curriculum in America, Asia, and Europe. His expertise on the intersection between technology and architecture not only provides a strong base for his instruction but also has been applied to real world application with built works and realized technological projects on three continents.
Beyond architecture Matthew continues to develop his knowledge and credentials in the field of Christian thought, having earned a Masters of Christian Apologetics from Talbot School of Theology and BIOLA, and nearly completed a Masters of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Matthew Niermann, Architect
- Master of Mastery
- Bachelor of Edification in Attaining Graduate Degrees
Attempting to set a world record for number of graduate degrees earned, Matt continues to knock 'em out, and is up to three. Not too shabby, by our standards.
Lately, when he is not graduating again, he enjoys public speaking and debates on the topics of philosophy and world views. This might explain his crazed obsessions with both Disney and opera. Actually, it does not at all, but Matt was, in fact, classically trained in opera for stage performances. Unfortunately, this talent can now be enjoyed only from the comfort of his bathroom ... while he is in the shower.
- Matt is spicy ground mustard
- Childhood dream job: President of the United States of America
- Crazydelicious combo: Dr. Pepper and lemon
- First job: job site security
- Little-known fact: Matt will soon be an ordained pastor
Nick Michelin, LEED AP
- Master of Architecture, Washington University in St. Louis
- Attended Washington University in St. Louis Tokyo Studio
- Attended the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Versailles
- Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Nick's education took him around the world in various study abroad programs, and culminated with a Master of Architecture degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Since leaving the world of academia for a professional life, Nick has worked in Perkins + Will's flagship Chicago office. His experience has been varied but has mainly consisted of international work. Nick brings to enMasse a background rich in presentation graphics, digitally aided design process and competition work; both winning pursuits and innovative failures. Outside of the office, Nick has a love for smaller design and fabrication projects. Digital visualization and manual fabrication are equally important for his process which is as likely to turn out a final product in cardboard or acrylic as in wood or steel.
Nick Michelin, LEED AP
- Master of Opinions in Filmography
- Bachelor of Arts in Cardboard Studies
Outside of the studio (wait, where is that?) Nick excels in artistry with materials others would just throw away. Cardboard has been his muse since a fateful day in graduate school, and has lead to countless expeditions into the dumpsters of retail stores since. He really knows where to find the best cardboard. Seriously.
The only member of enMasse to have ever attended summer camp, let alone work on camp staff (6 years!), Nick shares his love of the outdoors above ground and underwater with anyone he can convince to join him in backpacking expeditions or SCUBA trips. One of these days, he'll manage to convince his wife...
- Nick is sprinkle cheese on top
- Childhood dream job: dinosaur
- Crazydelicious combo: macaroni and cheese and hotdogs "Cheese 'n' Franks!"
- First job: sandwich artist
